Brian has written over three dozen original feature-length screenplays, including crime flicks, dramas, action pictures, thrillers, comedies, vampire flicks, and a western, and numerous short film scripts.
In October 2002, he completed a low budget DV short, Debt, which he wrote, directed, and executive produced. Debt was Brian's first experience with professional equipment and a crew. Debt has screened at several film festivals. The Money Belt, a short film that Brian wrote, was shot in late 2002 by 12-J Productions in Los Angeles.
Over the next three years, Brian wrote, produced and directed the DV short films: Commitment, Snare, and Three Couples, the 16mm short film, Everybody Sins, the 35mm short film, Promise, and the DV 24P shorts, Let Go and Vacant. Brian also shot scenes from his feature screenplay Midnight on digital video and edited them into a Trailer to help sell the feature film. That project is also available on DVD.
During this time, Brian also worked in a variety of crew positions - production assistant, craft services, script supervisor, assistant director, producer - on projects ranging from student films to major features.
Brian edited the indie feature, ALL HALLOWS, from writer/director Karl Sundstrom before moving to Los Angeles in Summer 2006. His short films, PROMISE, LET GO and VACANT have been playing the festival circuit over the past year. He is currently working as a 1st AD on indie films in L.A.
